Electric Breakfast Sandwich Maker Machine – £19.99

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Enjoy a hot, homemade breakfast sandwich within minutes. The first layer will cook the bottom half of the sandwich, you can add some pre-cooked meat at this stage; ham, salami, sausage, bacon or a burger patty. The second layer will cook a fresh egg perfectly, right inside the sandwich. Finally; the top layer will gently toast the bread and holds the heat inside the sandwich. Slide out the separate hot plate and the sandwich will be assembled. Easy and perfect every time!

IngenuiTEA Loose Tea Infuser – £18.00

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I really do like this little gadget. Open the lid, put in some loose tea then pour on the boiling water. The tea leaves do their floating and sinking thing and you can see how strong your tea is getting. When ready, simply place it on top of your cup. This will cause a valve at the bottom to release: crystal-clear tea flows down, while the mesh filter retains all the tea leaves.

IngenuiTEA teapot is also super easy to clean – just rinse it out with water or pop it in the dishwasher. You will wonder how you got along without one.

A product that works brilliantly and is a delight to behold.

Living Nostalgia indoor metal herb pots and tray Set – £16.85

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I absolutely adore this Living Nostalgia range and this indoor pot and tray set is spot on. Ideal for growing a selection of herbs and spices on your windowsill or in the kitchen, it’s functional, robust and looks attractive – it makes a great starter kit for growing your own herbs and spices.

It also makes the perfect gift for a keen chef, perhaps a would-be gardener or someone who needs to clear up their kitchen’s window sill of a bunch of random pots.

Joseph Joseph caddy sink area organiser – £16.20

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I have been lucky enough to have been gifted a couple of Joseph Joseph products recently and I absolutely love them (their nest of bowls is probably my favourite!).  They’re not the cheapest around and yes you could easily get a less expensive caddy sink organiser, but be honest, would it look as good as this one?

The design is highly practical, and very high quality; the entire unit can be dismantled for easy cleaning and it looks amazing.

Miracle Thaw Defrost Tray – £15.98

IMG_0945

No electricity, chemicals, batteries or microwave – just pure magic! Very simply explained, this miracle tray absorbs natural heat and energy in the air and then releases it directly into the food.

It’s absolutely perfect for busy family life when your freezer is full of meat but you always forget to take it out long enough in advance.

Miracle Thaw is guaranteed to thaw food naturally and perfectly every time. Chicken breast ready to cook in under 30 minutes? Yes, really!

6 Plastic party plates for food and drink in one hand – £14.24 (+p&p)

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

How awesome are these?

Have you ever found yourself trying to eat your buffet food while holding a drink? This won’t be a problem anymore, thanks to these ingenious plates.

I just love the extra convenience for when people want to wander and mingle.

They’re also great as children party plates or as plastic serving plates – perfect for crisps and dips for example.

Silicone baking mats – £13.96

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

These are my best friends in the kitchen. They get used almost every time I bake or cook something in the oven.

They’re really good quality, nothing sticks to them and they fit my oven baking sheet perfectly.

Sausage rolls no longer stick to the baking tray, woohoo! No scraping off stuck on bits of pastry, no more soaking the trays in the sink. I also find them fabulous for baking bread rolls, cookies and meringues.

I would highly recommend these liners to anyone who enjoys baking but hates the aftermath! A great and much more cost-effective alternative to using baking paper.

Long cuff water stop latex gloves – £12.99

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Do you hate getting wrinkles on your fingers whenever you do the dishes or get your hands dirty or cut from all the cleaning? You need these long cuff latex gloves.

They are perfect to use for washing dishes, cleaning, caring for an elderly, flower arrangements and more. These are the ideal warmer water stop gloves that can protect hands from hot water, soap and cleaning chemicals. Definitely a useful must-have for soft, ageless and wrinkle free hands!

Rice and spaghetti measure – £11.48

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Wave Goodbye to Wastage and Say Hello to Portion Control
Why do I always cook too much rice and too much spaghetti?

It’s enough – you know it’s enough, but it just doesn’t look very much in the pan, so you add a little bit more and then some more for good luck!!

This rice and spaghetti measure is a simple, non-calibrated measure for a single portion of rice in the bowl and a single generous portion of spaghetti through the hole. As you get to know your measurements, add a little more or a little less depending on the dish you are preparing.

Metal lemon and lime squeezer – £10.99

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

We’ve got one, my mum’s got one, my disabled dad’s got one, all my brothers too – this is truly one of those ‘I have no idea how I lived without it’ kind of product.

It gets every possible drop of juice from the fruit. There never a pip wandering around in my juice. It cleans in seconds and is dishwasher safe.

I used to have an electric citrus press which was great but always a hassle to get out of the cupboard. This squeezer is easy to store with other kitchen tools. Perfect for when you want to make lemonade for the kids or a quick margarita with your friends.

Glass kitchen food scale – £9.99

41tjfwr71sl-_sl500_ac_ss350_

Very sexy, light, small and neat. Very accurate, easy to use and switch between weight variations. Everything you need from a kitchen scale really!

Stuffed burger press – £9.95

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

This is a great burger press to make your own burgers. It is very simple to use: add minced meat to the base, press with the top to remove the middle, fill with your favourite fillings. Put some more mince on top. Add the case back on and press away.

It’s never been easier to make your own burgers. Make them healthier with no added salt or preservative or as my children like them, stuff them with cheese and chorizo.

The press means that the burgers are squashed to perfection with no risk whatsoever of barbeque disintegration.

In a nutshell: very easy to use, very easy to clean, and the fact you can add a nice surprise inside of your burger is awesome.

Reusable silicone food bag – £8.69

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The solution to our plastic bag addiction. So much better than using plastic all the time.

If you’re like us and used to using a lot of Ziplock bags in your life, then this is the best alternative out there. It is perfect for reducing plastic use at home and on the go.

  • steam veggies
  • freeze food
  • great lunch sack
  • completely airtight making them perfect for storing leftover avocado
  • fridge safe
  • microwave safe

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

If like me, you love your garlic, you need this product in your life. It’s like magic. I can finally peel garlic without using my nails. It’s easy to fill, easy to wash, simple and elegant. Another amazing product from Joseph Joseph.

Non-stick pizza crisper tray – £6.99

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Finally a really good pizza crisper. I am the first to admit that I had never realised just how much of a difference this would make to cooking pizza, but it really does come out 100% better whether it’s store-bought, frozen or homemade.

We like our pizzas here and we’re a bit fussy when it comes to achieving the perfect crispiness – sub-standard is not an option – and since we haven’t yet invested in a proper wood-fired oven, achieving a well enough cooked base without burning the toppings has always been a bit of a challenge… until now!

This tray really makes cooking pizza or chips evenly a breeze.

Nut milk bag – £6.95

Do you know someone who’s dairy-free? These little bags enable you to make your own fresh and nutritious milk from almonds and other nuts with or without a Thermomix. Just pour blend into the bag, strain and squeeze and voila – just so easy! No mess, no fuss, delicious and healthy with very little effort.

I think we have finally found the ideal pour and store freezer bag solution. Thank you, Lakeland!

They’re perfect to store any soup, stack very nicely side by side in the freezer, which means they take very little space compared to solid plastic containers, defrost in the microwave and clean in the dishwasher.

Electric coffee pen art pen for latte – £6.67

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

This electric coffee pen is also ideal for children to use – they will never tire of drawing and presenting you with their own special work of art.

Animal house monkey peeler – £6.08

IMG_0962

So this one is a bit of a cheat, it won’t make your peeling quicker or easier but we just couldn’t resist how cute and cool it looks.

With its bright orange colour and its funky design, it’s also likely to encourage kids to help out.

Herb cutting scissors – £5.99

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

A pair of scissors that cuts with 5 blades at once. One of those I-don’t-know-how-I-managed-without-them kitchen tools.

And yes they do make a great gift. Works perfectly, so quickly and cleans easily.

5 blades work together at once to neatly cut fresh herbs, the soft grip handles make it comfortable to use, an ideal addition to any kitchen.

Lurico bear meat claws – set of 2 – £5.89

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

These Lurico Meat Claws are one of the most versatile cooking tools on the market. They are ideal for:

  • Meat shredding – Make pulled pork out of pork shoulder 10 times quicker than regular forks
  • Meat tongs – Move meat on and off the grill or oven
  • Meat slicer – Holding a large piece of meat while shredding or cutting. Can also be used as a fruit or vegetable holder
  • Alternative to BBQ gloves – Keep your hands protected and from getting burned
  • Salad tongs – very useful to toss salad.

Can colander / strainer – £5.24

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Instead of using the can’s metal lid to drain, simply place this fantastic little strainer over the opening and press. Safe, effective and easy to use, it stops you from getting the tuna liquid on your hands, keeping fingers clean and scent-free.

It works well, is easy to clean, not expensive and makes life easier. What more could one ask of a kitchen gadget? Perfect.

If I am perfectly honest, I cheat all the way with this recipe – shop bought puff pastry and ready-made cranberry sauce.  With a little help from your Thermomix, you could easily home make both.
